The French Association of Zootechnics rewards each year with a thesis prize for a doctoral research work dealing with animal sciences. For the year 2020, this prize was awarded to Mrs. Lola Toomey whose thesis, defended on May 26, 2020, was on “The Integration of Geographical Differentiation in Domestication Processes to Facilitate Fish Diversification“. This thesis was carried out within the UR AFPA (Domestication in Continental Aquaculture group). She will receive the sum of one thousand euros (1000€) to present her work at the next congress of the European Federation of Animal Science to be held in Davos from August 30 to September 3.
